About Brent D. Gifford

Brent is the co-founder of iTech Northwest, LLC. Brent has 20 years of Information Technology experience in the credit union market place. Serving in a dual role, Brent is also the Vice President/CTO for Northwest Community Credit Union, a $575 million dollar financial institution, serving 65,000 members with 14 branches in the State of Oregon.

Brent has spent all but a few years of his professional life working in the credit union space – at either a credit union or a credit union data processor. With this background, Brent has been able to see the varied ways that credit unions and credit union data processors use and offer their services.

Brent specializes in the operations and security management process. Brent earned his Master’s Degree in Information Systems Security in August 2001 from George Mason University and the Certified Information Systems Security Professional – CISSP – certification in May 2003. Brent enjoys the challenges of staying abreast of technological advancements and how it can help organizations become more efficient.

Brent enjoys spending his free time with his family, watching movies, or some outdoor activity.
